Guide for manufacturers and suppliers

The EU importer uses this portal to prepare the EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) and the customs clearance of your goods. Here is what you need to do.

Accept the invitation

  1. Open the link in the invitation e-mail.
  2. Enter the e-mail address the invitation was sent to; you will receive a sign-in link. No password is needed.
  3. Click "Accept and open product". You will only see the products you were invited to.

Fill in the product data

  1. Fill in the six groups: identification, materials, energy, repair and recycling, compliance, packaging.
  2. Fields marked * are required for a complete passport. You can submit partial data and complete it later.
  3. Scan the EAN / GTIN barcode with your phone camera or upload a photo of it.
  4. Importer details are filled in by the EU importer and cannot be changed.
  5. Click "Submit to importer". The importer reviews and publishes the data.

Upload compliance documents

  1. Upload the CE certificate, EU Declaration of Conformity, test reports and RoHS / REACH declarations (PDF, max. 25 MB).
  2. Each file receives a SHA-256 fingerprint; later changes can be detected.
  3. Customs sees only compliance documents. Files marked "Other" stay private — production secrets are never shown to customs.

For suppliers and freight forwarders

  1. Send the commercial invoice and packing list for every order above €150; values are usually in USD.
  2. Make sure the GTIN on the product label matches the passport.
  3. Without a registered DPP the EU customs authority may refuse entry of the goods.
